Globalscape EFT, Simplified.

Effective with the 8.0.7 release, Globalscape EFT Express and EFT Enterprise are being combined into a single entity, Globalscape EFT.

This singular Globalscape EFT helps you personalize your Globalscape experience by adding and removing desired modules as needed without restriction from the platform.

Rest assured, current customers who upgrade will maintain all existing functionality and modules they have grown to rely on automatically. Moving forward, any EFT customer, no matter if they previously used EFT Express or EFT Enterprise, will be able to license any additional modules if they choose once they upgrade.

We are excited about this new offering which better supports our customers' ability to personalize and scale their environments as they evolve.

Are Globascape EFT Express and Globalscape EFT Enterprise solutions going away?

EFT Express and EFT Enterprise are being combined into a single entity, Globalscape EFT, designed to simplify our offering and make it easier for you to access the features and modules you need without restriction.

Will there be an End of Life (EOL) for legacy EFT Express and EFT Enterprise?

We generally provide Support Services for each Major Release of Licensed Software for a period of up to two (2) years from the initial GA Date. Our full End of Life policy can be found here.

What will happen to the features and modules I already license and leverage?

Rest assured, you will maintain all your existing functionality and modules when you upgrade your environment. Since we've expanded what's included in our core offering, you may even gain additional features automatically in this new licensing model. 

How does the upgrade process work?

Administrators can continue to use the Globalscape EFT installer to upgrade their environment. Both the EFT Enterprise and EFT Express installer can upgrade you to Globalscape EFT 8.0.7. This upgrade is not considered complicated, but should you want assistance, our professional services team or a trusted partners (if applicable) are available.

Note: it is recommended that you are on the latest version of EFT (8.0.6) prior to upgrading to Globalscape EFT 8.0.7.

Will EFT Express customers be able to license modules historically only available to EFT Enterprise customers when they upgrade to the new version?

Yes! Many new features and modules previously only available in EFT Enterprise will now be accessible to all users in this new offering, including:

• Advanced Workflow Module (AWE)
• AS2 Protocol Module
• Advanced Authentication Module (AAM), formerly a part of the Advanced Security Module (ASM)
• Enterprise Actions Module (EAM)
• Secure Forms, formerly known as Upload Forms
• Remote Agents Module (RAM)

Will existing customers lose any access to features/modules? 

No. There will be no degradation of features or removal of access to existing modules. Existing EFT Express and EFT Enterprise customers will continue to maintain their current licenses. As the core Globalscape EFT offering has been enhanced, there may be additional features available.
