EFT Enterprise Now Available Through Microsoft Azure Marketplace

This blog post is another installment in our series dedicated to describing our outlook on the cloud and how we plan to create value for our customers looking to deploy managed file transfer (MFT) in the cloud.

October has been an eventful month in our conversation on the cloud. Earlier this month, Matt weighed in on our outlook on cloud technology and how we plan to meet the requirements of our customers as they migrate to the cloud. We also announced our support for and presence in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace.

We’ve continued the forward momentum of our cloud initiative by successfully integrating and certifying Enhanced File Transfer (EFT), our managed file transfer (MFT) platform to run on Microsoft Azure. EFT’s integration and status as a Microsoft Azure Certified application will provide additional resources for users looking to securely and simply transfer data run on Microsoft Azure’s cloud. Globalscape EFT is also now available in the Azure Marketplace. The Microsoft Azure Certified application status confirms EFT’s technical compatibility for any customers who choose to deploy EFT within Azure.

We recognize that our current and future customers are being asked to move their projects or complete infrastructure to the cloud. With this in mind, we want to ensure that we have solutions available so that our customers’ data can be moved between on-premises and cloud, or cloud-only environments through the most popular IaaS platforms. With the availability of the EFT platform on both the Azure Marketplace and AWS Marketplace, we’ve established ourselves through channels that account for a 40% share of the public cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) category.

Organizations can deploy EFT through the Azure Marketplace and start securely transferring data within minutes. Using EFT, organizations can harness the following benefits:

  • Increase operational efficiency: Organizations using the Advanced Workflow Engine in EFT can automate tasks.
  • Secure movement of data: The EFT platform is built to meet the highest security standards, and ensure data stays safe in transit or at rest.
  • Enable organizations to meet compliance mandates: EFT enables organizations to meet, exceed, and maintain the highest compliance standards, including PCI DSS, HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and more.
  • Easily add additional features: All features in EFT are available through a modular system with additional features such as enterprise file sync and share tools, automation, high availability, or accelerated file transfer are available. EFT can grow and expand in functionality to suit your organization’s growing business requirements

EFT allows our customers to maintain agility and a competitive advantage by allowing for increased responsiveness to customers, colleagues, partners, and vendors. Our move to the Azure Marketplace was meant to help our customers extend this advantage in the public cloud. If you would like to test EFT in the Azure Marketplace test our 30-day trial today.
