CuteFTP Mac Download and Registration Instructions

Applicability
The instructions below apply to the following products.  If your product is not listed, please visit the support page for your particular product.

 

CuteFTP Mac Home CuteFTP Mac Professional

Step 1:  Download and Install

1. To download the software, browse to the relevant product support page above then find your software in the download list and click on one of the download links.

2. Click Open - The software will download and auto-extract.

3. Locate the CuteFTP Mac folder on your desktop, open it and double-click on the CuteFTP Mac program executable.

Step 2:  Registration and Activation

1. When you start the software for the first time, input your Registration Serial Number when you are prompted to do so. For the registered user name, you may use either your first and last name or your company name. This information will appear in the About box in the software.

Note: To register successfully, you must be connected to the Internet and have administrator privileges on your computer. If a firewall or proxy server is in use, the network administrator should ensure port 80 is open during the registration process.

If necessary, follow the onscreen instructions and perform a manual registration. For fastest resolution, submit the necessary information through our Manual Registration Form.

If unsuccessful online, please submit the information to our customer service team for manual processing. If you continue to have troubles, contact the customer service team for assistance.
