GlobalSCAPE Releases Latest Version of Enhanced File Transfer Server and New DMZ Gateway
GlobalSCAPE Enhanced File Transfer Suite Now Includes EFT Server, DMZ Gateway Server and Web Transfer Clients
SAN ANTONIO -- Today, GlobalSCAPE (OTCBB:GSCP - News), announced the release of Enhanced File Transfer (EFT) Server 4 and DMZ Gateway 1, as part of its enterprise secure file transfer solution. EFT Server manages and secures Internet file transfers using industry standard protocols. DMZ Gateway resides in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and brokers all inbound communications between external clients and EFT server, eliminating the need for data storage or authentication in the DMZ.
"EFT 4 provides state-of-the-art perimeter security through the use of a "DMZ Gateway" which virtualizes the back end server through a PULL technology," explains Greg Hoffer, VP and CTO at GlobalSCAPE. "Without any inbound holes in the corporate firewall, external partners are able to securely connect and transfer sensitive data to and from hardened servers that provide robust business process integration."
"I am delighted with the progress we have made in developing a suite of secure server solutions for our customers," adds Randy Poole, President and Chief Operating Officer of GlobalSCAPE.
Meeting Customer Needs for Regulatory Compliance
EFT Server 4 helps customers achieve regulatory compliance with acts such as HIPAA, U.S. Sarbanes-Oxley and Gramm-Leach Bliley security standards by providing security functionalities such as secure authentication, secure data transfers, secure storage, and advanced encryption and signing.
Key Features in Enhanced File Transfer
- EFT Server 4. Multiple event rules and work flow logic enhancement, improved session reporting and monitoring tools, LDAP authentication, on-the-fly compression and transparent data storage encryption.
- DMZ Gateway Server 1. Protect data and authentication databases behind the firewall, while providing trading partners with access to EFT server. This configuration is optimal for organizations requiring the highest level of file transfer security.
