Secure FTP Server is now EFT Server — Upgrade Today

I have a current maintenance contract. Am I eligible for a FREE upgrade?

Yes, if you have a current maintenance contract, you can upgrade for free from Secure FTP Server 3 to EFT Server or from EFT Server 4-5 to EFT Server Enterprise. Please contact sales to determine eligibility and obtain a serial number.

My maintenance contract has expired. Can I still get a free upgrade?

No. Without a current maintenance contract you are eligible only for maintenance releases within the same major version number. However you will not be charged the full retail price if you decide to upgrade. To upgrade to EFT Server Enterprise from any version of EFT Server or Secure FTP Server please contact sales.

I own a license for Secure FTP Server FIPS. How do I obtain an upgrade to EFT Server 6?

Users licensed for Secure FTP Server FIPS 3 must follow the upgrade instructions above to upgrade to EFT Server 6. You will also receive the High Security Module (HSM) that enables FIPS mode at no additional charge. Please contact sales to obtain the upgrade and determine your eligibility for a free HS Module license.

How do I go about upgrading once I receive my upgrade serial number?

Where do I find my previous serial number?

In the Administrator Interface, click Help > About.

I misplaced my serial number. Where can I obtain a copy?

You can locate lost serial numbers using the Serial Number Locator, provided you know the e-mail address you used when you first registered the product.

What about multi-user license upgrades?
